Lars' Chocolate Cake

2-1/2 oz (75 g) melted butter
1 Cup (2 dl) sugar
2 eggs
3/4 Cup (1-1/2 dl) all purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla sugar (1/4 tsp vanilla essence)
1 tsp baking powder (double action baking powder
is fine)
1/4 Cup (1/2 dl) milk
2 oz (50 g) chopped chocolate

Preheat oven at 375 F (175 C).

Beat the sugar and the eggs until light and fluffy. Add
all the dry ingredients, together with the melted butter
and milk. Gently add the chopped chocolate.

Butter a spring form and pour mixture into the form.
Bake at 375 F (175 C) for about 30 minutes or until the
cake springs back lightly when pressed with a finger.
