 | How do I download and upload my web pages? |
That's easy! If you have Internet Explorer, you can download one of our templates, edit the page with your content and upload it to an internet address we give you. When you sign up and receive your free software, you will be able to choose the "save as" function in your Internet Explorer browser, download our templates and get started on making your homepage right away. Or...
You can use our FREE software that comes with your webhosting account. Using our file manager you can upload the files that you need; (images, .zip files, eBooks etc.) and then use our web page editor to make your website! All accounts also come with a webhosting manager to add E-mail accounts, SPAM blocking, uploading features etc. Please E-mail us if you need a detailed listing of your accounts control panel.

Yes, you can have as many as
10 if you need that
many. You might want one for each member of your family? Or you might have more

Do I get my own website address? If so, what is it? |
The address to your website is: http://mywebsitename.com. Domain names cost about $15 a year, depending on where you purchase your domain name. We will be glad to help you find where to purchase a domain name on the Internet.

How much space and bandwidth do I get? What is bandwidth? |
You
can have 25MB of space for your website and 2000MB (megabytes) of bandwidth a month. We at
EclecticCooking.com would be surprised if you used more than 25MB! Why? Well
this page is about 23kb (including pictures) and to use up 25 MB (megabytes) you would have
to have over 100 pages!
Bandwidth is how much "traffic" you can have. So...if someone comes to one of your web pages (about 23kb) then that page could be visited over 40,000 times a month!

Do I have to "qualify" to have a website? |
No, you do not need to "qualify" to have a website hosted. Let's explain this a little further...
You can have a website about anything you want, but if it doesn't relate to food, it probably will not interest our readers. You can write about traveling to different countries, for example, but then you could write about what foods you ate, or the country's popular dish, or exotic fruits etc.

Do you place advertising on my website? |
No, we do not place advertising on your site.
However, you can have a featured listing on our homepage if you link back to us. You can learn more about this in your hosting package.

Is there a "money back guarantee"? |
Yes. We have a 14-day "money back guarantee" If you are not happy with your webhosting account you can always get a refund, no questions asked. You can try our hosting package here.

How much does it cost? |
We charge a fee of only $7.95 a month to host a website including your article or other content in our newsletter or our website if you wish. This covers the running cost of hosting a site on our domain. There are NO setup or any other fees.

No, these programs are available free of charge from Microsoft® and will enable you to create a website with little or no experience necessary or your can simply use your own software you might already have or our online software that comes with your webhosting account.
